I just purchased the Redington 9 ft. 5wt and really like the action of this rod. I can use streamers, even #6 poppers with ease and still have the delicate trout rod I need. I have the Redington Drift Reel to balance out the rod perfect. Casting a 9 ft.rod will get you more distance as I have found out after spooling Bass Bug line on the Redington reel. The ease at which this rod will handle the bass line is amazing. Super rod at a great price.

I have the 9ft, 5 wt, and this supple rod is a great dry fly tool. It allows me to put down delicate precise casts to wary fish and still have enough power to get a good hook set and fight a large fish. If you are looking for a smoother, slower timed rod then the CT is for you.

The 376-4 CT is a versatile creeker. It can lay down dries gently and accurately, sling light nymph rigs, and throw #12 beadhead leeches with authority.

I have had the CT 906-4 for over a year now and it is one of my favourite rods. A true 6wt perfect for throwing bigger dries, double fly rids and trout sized streamers. I wouldn't want to fish all day swinging big rigs with this guy, but for an al around rod, it will be hard to find one that is better. Aside from performance, the finish is beautiful. Buy it, plain and simple.

I have the CT 9054 (5wt.) and have found that this is exactly the rod I was looking for considering my local waters. The medium action of this rod makes for a perfect feel when casting, and even enhances the simple enjoyment of casting itself. I fish this rod with everything from streamers to multiple-fly nymph rigs with splitshot and indicators to delicate dry flies. When really loading the rod for long accurate casts in bigger rivers and stillwater, I feel like it certainly has the backbone to shoot the line, even into the Wyoming wind; yet I can still be light, delicate, and accurate when fishing small dry flies in tight quarters. It is a very nice, classic looking rod and the Rose Dynawood insert is a nice touch. Perhaps the best feature about this rod for me is the price/value. I certainly feel like I got my money's worth, and I was able to outfit it with a high quality line and a nice reel without breaking the bank. Redington really nailed it with this one!
