I purchased the women's medium waiders for a trip out west two weeks ago. During the first week I had seam failure along the inside seam on both legs at the knees. Cook City general store has one tube of sealant at a huge markup, but so as not to ruin my fly fishing vacation had to purchase - dry - and seal waders. Love the overall design - belt, pocket, etc. but could not believe after $160.00 from local fly shop that they would fail after one week of wearing.

I bought these and the Willow River boots to replace rubber hip boots I had last year(which were heavy, bulky to walk in, and often cold.) These waders seem durable as I have not had any problems with them as far as leaking or tearing. They are comfortable, warm, and easy to move around. These waders are cut for women and fit very well, where other products I've tried lack the fit for a womens body. I am 5'2, 110 lbs and typically wear a size 1-5 pant. I bought the size small and love the fit, they are big enough for warmer layers underneath but not too much extra fabric that it gets in the way. Also as I am not a fan of the color pink, nothing about these are pink as with most other womens specific products :) Thumbs Up Redington, I will be a repeat customer.

I purchased a size medium to match my size from the size chart. The leg measurements are too short, the feet are HUGE and will probably rip a whole soon from trying to bunch them in my wading boots and the shoulder straps have very sharp stitching and seams, enough to cut my neck and shoulders on both sides. I do not recommend these and will never buy a pair again.

I've spent many years in waders and am pretty particular about what I buy, but I love these waders. They fit well and I find them very comfortable. I'm average size, 5'4", in the 130 range, size 7-1/2 shoe, the mediums are perfect. I've worn them hard for a season and have only had to patch the inside of the knees - all my other waders are patched here as well. I think the suspenders could be more comfortable - but overall, I am very pleased.

Because of my petite size ( 5 ft 1 inch, 100 lbs with inseam of 29.5 inch, sports shoe size of 7) i compared 5 reputable waders brands (online sizing charts and reviews) before deciding to buy the Willow River Wader. So far no regrets, the sizing works well - ample room to bend my knees and to add warmer layers. The shoulder straps have to be shortened considerably and the top of the Wader ie the chest piece is about collarbone level. I know I am never going to look flattering in waders because of my small frame - this will be as good as it gets. Happy i chose this and Will be testing it on a overseas trip soon and will update the review.
