Rubber rand and toe caps help prevent sharp surfaces from penetrating the shoes mesh panels. Webbing pull loops also make for easy entry and exit so you don't have to fuss with wet laces or cold hands and can get back to fishing quickly. The Skagit Wading Boots with felt soles are also stud compatible for blunt conditions.
