A great fly rod for fishing docks or mangroves for snook. So easy to cast!!

Could not believe these were $250! They cast like an $700 saltwater rod. Wow. Thanks Team RED!

I was at my house in Costa Rica,Bay of Goldolfo and caught 9 roosters from the beach and the boat! This is an excellent rod and I'm a Sage and Orvis guy! Great bang for your buck.

I have the 6 weight and have caught everything from Crappies to Silver Salmon with this rod. It is plenty tough enough to handle big strong fish. Most fly fishers don't appreciate how accurate a shorter rod can be. This 7' 10" rod is just the ticket for hitting small targets.

I have at least a dozen fly rods and I was in hawaii for a quick vacation and I needed a reasonably priced rod so I picked up a Predator 8 weight and I was pleasantly surprised at the power and how smooth my 320 grain shooting head shot to a no. of Bonefish and shot thru the wind! I was told the tapers were changed a couple of years ago? Eric

What killer sticks these Predator rods are. I have both the 890-4 and the 1090-4 and they have both exceeded my expectations. They cast great and fish even better. The components are of excellent quality. The fit and finish are spot on. How do you do all this for $250? Although it's not my Sage Xi3, it blows away many other rods costing two or three times as much.

I am fishing the 9ft 8wt predator as a streamer rod for trout. Picks up sink tip line like a champ. Puts it in tight and accurate. Can also flipcast and lob open loops for ridiculously weighted flies like a stick. As for fighting power I pulled in about 20 pounds of snagged tarp, the blue variety ranchers use to cover hay bales, from wall of boulders in a good current. Handles fish no problem.

Awesome tool! Even into a strong wind with the biggest, heaviest pike fly my 8'3" #10 will throw the entire 32m fly line with ease.

Love the predator rods. They are cannons and strong durable rods. Hard to beat for $249. I got a 6,8 and 9
