After 3 hours of a varying levels of precipitation, The Deschutes kept me dry and felt good. The hood fits well, has a brim, and actually stays up for extended periods of time (exciting feature). Additional jacket bonuses include: sealed seams, two-way pit zips, and plenty of pockets…plus my favorite feature in any coat: a zipper protector to keep my chin from chaffing. http://www.readbreathe.com/blogs/stay-dry-my-friends/
