Founded in 1992, Redington has always brought innovativeness, performance and tremendous value to anglers worldwide. Our roots are now in the Pacific Northwest where we have access to some of the most wonderful fishing resources in the world.
Redington is a proud sponsor of Trout Unlimited, Federation of Fly Fishers and the Take Me Fishing Program. Employees have also been encouraged to become part of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation’s Angler’s Legacy, a program in which avid anglers pledge to take a novice fishing at least once a year.
Recently, Redington joined the fight against Pebble Mine development in Southwest Alaska's Bristol Bay, an area where the wilds of nature provide sustenance and life to a region dependant on fisheries. We are proud to join forces with Trout Unlimited Alaska and Felt Soul Media – an award winning producer of fly fishing films – to produce a video that will reveal the beauty and bounty of the pristine Bristol Bay watershed and give a voice to the commercial, sport and subsistence fishermen banding together to stop the proposed Pebble Mine.
